That was definitely a charge and a half, even though Sedin had his head down. Punishable? Not in the least. He was solidly rocked, and his head wasn't the main point of contact.

EDIT: The more I look at it, it was barely even a charge. Sit down 'nucks fans.

LOL. mad at AV for saying he didn't like the position sedin puthimself in...weird - coaches usually encourage putting your head down.

fantastic hit by dustin brown, 110% clean, no elbow, glided into him, stayed on his feet and just followed through with a hard hard hard hit.

suck it vancity.

So who is the acting coach? The flopping and diving, although rampant, is amateur stuff.

whats wrong with a coach not whining about a clean hit? I dont think its the coach, I thinks its the players. They cant step it up when they need to. Or the GM for not imroving the team enough in the off-season, but since the GM and the players wont be fired, might as well scapegoat the coach.

What do you guys do about Luongo this summer? He played well in games 1 and 2 and is riding the pine...

I know Schneider only let in 1 goal but Luongo didn't lose his job, it was the forwards and defenceman that sh1t the bed

My point was he should have had his captains back instead of blaming him.

I didn't hear Julian come out last year and say Horton has to keep him head up and not watch his pass.

Maybe it's Daniel's fault too. He should know blindside elbows can come at anytime.

On a positive note Nicklas Jensen and Joe Cannata

Cannata's first AHL start 38 saves for the win.

Jensen with the hatrick. 4 goals in his last two games.

Bob McKenzie said the puck was gone less than 3/10th's of second prior to the hit. Clean hockey hit. You don't fine guys for clean hockey hits, and you don't whine about it to the media.

Sedin himself said it was clean. Who by the way showed incredible toughness coming back so quickly from it.

Agreed. Luongo played well. The team just plays better in front of Schneider. Tough call.

IMO I'd like to keep both (say schneider for 2 yr/2.5 per), but if the offer is right you move one.

By your non-comment on the hit it is obvious you think it was dirty.

Bob MacKenzie, you know that hack on TSN, tweeted his opinion and why.

Go read it.

Im starting to get sick of it as well. Not for the fact of "integrity" because every team does it but because of the fact the Canucks have learned nothing the last three years. What made them successful last year was whistle to whistle determination. Not this side show poop.

That was a hell of a hit. It almost looked similar to the Neil/Boychuck collision where they both were down. It didn't look like the kind of big hit where the hitter seeming goes right through the hittee, it was more of a car crash.

The CBC announcers were awful about that hit, they attempted to make it dirty in anyway. They wondered if it was an elbow, a headshot, late, and if Brown left his feet? They were positive Sedin was concussed from either the hit or from his head bouncing off the ice (which is possible) but I think that most people watching it knew Sedin was winded just from his reactions.

But I guess it's ok to whine about Edler and Kesler's play in the media.

The GM doesn't deserve it and a few players do. The coach definitely does. The team has been playing like poop the last three months. How does the coach play Ryan Kesler, a guy with hip problems coming of off season surgery, 24 minutes a night down the stretch heading into the playoffs? He should have been resting.

And the Kings should know that if they make any kind of contact with a Canuck, expect arms and legs flailing and someone to go down like a sack of potatoes. Too busy worrying about trying to start sh!t or get a call. But yeah, it's the coach's fault, not the players.

The hit was clean, there's not a single dirty thing about it. Hank should have been more aware instead of only looking at Kopitar, that's his own fault.

Maybe Vancouver should worry more about protecting their net than whining about how the big meany LA Kings players are pushing them around while their PR department laughs (Twitter is still popular, I'm sure the video guy who put the Olympic diving clips after Keasler dived is just as loved now)

Seriously, there's not a single person next to Brown when he scored, how did Vancouver allow that? I mean there's just nobody even close to him. Giving how hot he is lately, losing account of him on the ice should be the last thing they do

Will I watch game four......sure.
Do I care who wins......nope.

Hey Ian, ur wrong about one thing, AV does coach the players, how else could they be so good at diving?

We don't need a riot, we need every fan walking out of the building on wensday to take off their jerseys, round them up in a big pile, follow by a classic BC bonfire.

Management needs to get the message.

I've looked at the hit ten times. Totally legal.

On top of that, with all the diving how would the officals know that it was any different then any other hit?

Vancouver has a great team - they just need to play hockey and quite trying out for the olypmpic diving team.

And Vancouver fans need to realize that they are proving all of the haters, correct..

- mbell

Funny, I don't think I've heard one preson say it was illegal on here. I'm more pissed that the coach didn't go to bat for his captain. Instead he blamed him.

You just don't do that. As a coach, you need to have a players back. AV doesn't
